University uses different scales than schools or college for grading. The scale of the university is commonly on 10-point CGPA scale but 4-point CGPA scale and 4-point CGPA scale is also not uncommon thing. Percentile: Percentile percentage is based upon the comparison of the student with others who appeared in the exam. so it is students performance compared by other students.
Absolute: It is student’s performance , based on his own result . This percentage is not influenced by any other student .

Grade Point Average: GPA Grading System

The grading system plays a fair role in escaping the unrestful environment of competition among students. It has benefits and some perks to use this system over the causal marks and percentage-based system This is the time when people/students take more stress over small things. If they secure fewer marks than their competitor they feel this extreme failure or loss, but if this evaluation occurs with letter grades, the same competency level falls in the same category.
